Assistive technology consultation and teaching - Lead a grant awarded by Michigan Disability Rights Coalition http://www.copower.org/ to the Wayne County Community Assistive Technology Council to drive systemic change to permanently improve access to assistive technology devices and services http://home.comcast.net/~mcmcadam/ . The tutor program initiated by this grant is now funded by Greater Detroit Agency for the Blind, Accessible Computer Training Program http://www.gdabvi.org/. Working with Wayne County Center for Independent Living and other partners, with funding from Michigan Disability Rights Coalition, leading demonstration project on computer use for career development, concentrating on computer technology that addresses reading, writing, or cognitive processing or mobility issues for people who have learning disabilities http://www.copower.org/At/demo.htm#wayne/.
